Temp Advanced Primary Care Management Reviewer (Part Time 12-16 Hrs/Week)

Our care teams travel directly to patients who reside in Assisted Living, Memory Care and Group Home communities throughout Minnesota, Wisconsin and Florida and are supported by clinical operations and administrative colleagues who work remotely or at our corporate offices in Stillwater, Minnesota, and Tampa, Florida.

The Advanced Primary Care Management (APCM) Reviewer (Temporary, 12-16 hrs/week) works within our Clinic Operations team. This is a remote-based role focused on reviewing elements of the newly approved CMS Program of APCM. The role will review the various elements of the program among patients who we seek to enroll for proactive Quality Assurance (QA) to ensure BPS is meeting the requirements. The role will report to the VP of Clinical Operations and function largely independently but will seek collaboration with our clinical and non-clinical staff when the need arises. The specific responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to those listed below:
Schedule: Part-Time 12-16 hours/week. Anticipated duration of role 4-6 months.
Location: Remote (work from home). Candidates for this remote role must be located in one of Bluestone Markets (Minnesota, Wisconsin or Florida).
Salary: $22.00-25.00/hourly. Base salary will be commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities:
- Internal quality assurance tasks
- Patient Chart review
- Reviewing and learning government regulations for APCM
- Ensuring the various elements of the APCM program are met through documentation and chart review
- Operate office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers to communicate and update electronic medical records and other databases as appropriate
- Special projects related to quality assurance as needed
Qualifications:
Education/Certification/Experience
- Minimum of 1 year experience working within Healthcare Management or Healthcare Administration preferred
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Computer proficiency including ability to navigate electronic medical records system, Google Business Suite, and equipment
- Proficient in Excel
- Extreme attention to detail, follow-through, and commitment to quality
- Detail oriented and accurate
- Collaborates effectively within team settings with clinical and non-clinical staff
- Ability to deal with change and ambiguity
- Knowledge of medical terminology and understanding of patient charts
- Understanding of the broad needs of healthcare information (data security, HIPAA, PHI, etc)
- Work independently and proactively to meet company goals and timelines with minimal direction/supervision
- Effective and professional written and verbal communication skills
- Computer proficient, 55+ WPM typing
- Skilled in identifying and resolving problems
- Demonstrated compatibility with Bluestone’s purpose, core focus, and core values
- Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
